This

Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy"
taken from the 2013 release Death Metal
Christmas: Hellish Renditions Of Christmas
Classics, followed
by "Unrest for Melancholy Men (God
Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen)" and "O
Come, O Come, Azrael (O Come,
O Come, Emmanuel)" from the same release. We
revisit the 3 wise cuts, which lead us to our
first featured
track in JJ's "Earthen
Kings (We Three Kings)". Then we shift gears to something
completely different,
as we jump to Rush Coil's 2010 chiptune collection
8-Bit Christmas for the festive "Gloria",
"Deck
the Halls", "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel", "Little Drummer
Boy", and "Silent Night", still proceeding
to our second spotlight tune from the same release, "
Carol
of the Bells". We stick with 8-Bit
Christmas
for "O Christmas Tree", and "Joy to the World", then pop
open an Xmas surprise from The Dickies for our
third featured tune with "Silent Night ", from 1979's The
Incredible Shrinking Dickies. We say goodnight to
8-Bit
Christmas
with "O
Holy Night", a portion of "We
Three Kings", and of course, "Auld Lang Syne",
before returning to Death Metal
Christmas
for our closer "
Greensleeves".

Peterson, and Steve at Seattle Crypticon 2013.
Episode One Hundred and One Music:
This episode, we kick things off with
"Shillelagh", by the Cancer Bats, taken
from their 2006 debut Birthing the
Giant, before jumping to 2012's Dead Set On
Living for "R.A.T.S", "Bricks and Mortar", "Breathe
Armageddon",
and "Dead Set On Living". 2010's Bears, Mayors, Scraps
and Bones is the source for our first featured
track, "Trust
No One", before we return to DSOL for the rest of
the title cut, "The Void", 2nd spotlight cut "Road Sick",
"Drunken
Physics", "Bastards!", and "Rally The Wicked", leading up to 3rd
featured tune "Harem of Scorpions" from 2008's
Hail Destroyer. We close out Dead Set On
Living with "New World Alliance" and
our final focus track, "Old Blood",
before skipping back to Hail Destroyer for "Deathsmarch",
"Regret", "Bastard’s Waltz", "Sorceress", "Lucifer’s
Rocking Chair", "Let It Pour", "Smiling Politely" and "Pray For
Darkness". Finally, we cherry pick "Butterscotch"
from Birthing the Giant, before closing with the
title cut from Hail Destroyer.
