quarter century in the making, The BoneBat Show
is a tri-weekly joint project from the creators

EPISODES 81-90
This Episode:
In this summer of their discontent, Steve
and Gord make
with the
petulance, as they air their grievances,
shake their fists at the sky, and yell at
the damn
kids to GET OFF THEIR LAWN!, all to the
monumentally mathi-metallic sounds of
Sweden's Meshuggah!
Plus,
we've got a fresh selection of What Pisses Us
Off, Political
Ranting, more Filthy Jokes, and Multimedia
Triage reviews of the novels The Providence Rider by Robert
R. McCammon, Don Winslow'sThe
Kings of
Cool, and Sherman Alexie'sThe Absolutely True Diary of a
Part-Time Indian,
as well as the video games Max Payne
3 from Rockstar and 2XL's
Jeremy Mcgrath's
Offroad Racing, in
this
very put-out episode 90 of The BoneBat Show!
Episode
Ninety Music:
This
episode, we kick things off with "The Demon's
Name Is Surveillance", taken from Meshuggah's 2012
release Koloss, followed by "I Am
Colossus", "Do Not Look Down" and "Behind the
Sun", leading up to our first
featured cut, "Rational
Gaze" from the 2004 releaseNothing.
We then bounce to 2008's obZen
for
"Combustion",
"Electric Red", and that album's title cut,
before returning to Koloss for our
2nd spotlight cut, "Swarm". 2004's Nothing is then revisited in
earnest in the form of "Stengah", "Perpetual
Black Second", "Straws Pulled at Random"
and "Spasm", in the approach to our third
featured track, "Future Breed Machine", as heard
on the 1995 effort Destroy Erase Improve. We persist
with that release for a crushing "Suffer in
Truth", before closing back in 2008
with the amazing "Bleed" from obZen.
